Danny Fontaine - God of Rock Photography - shooting michael buble??!! Yeah well. we's all gots ta make a living eh? And I do enjoy getting into £35 a ticket gigs for free! It was quite enjoyable actually for about 20 minutes, good light show, excellent backing band and Buble was pretty funny in between songs too. Just there's only so much you can take of cover song after cover song, and it always annoys me when people take a Sinatra song and sing it ex-ACtly like Frank would! I like it when people really go to town on a cover like Ben Fold Five's version of "She Don't Use jelly" by The Flaming Lips, or Less Than jake's version of the whole "Grease" soundtrack. So yeah, on the whole pleasant...sort of...if you'd like to be in the audience of the Generation Game, then you'll prolly like Buble. If you don't however, be warned, they closed the bar as soon as the show started - what retards. Nice photos though... HOME BIO LINKS CONTACT
